Avalanche recall Anton Lindholm from Rampage

The Colorado Avalanche have recalled defenseman Anton Lindholm from their AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage, the team announced on Friday afternoon.

The call-up marks the first from San Antonio this season and overall is Lindholm’s second call-up to Colorado. Lindholm appeared in 62 games with the Rampage in the 2016-17 season, posting two goals and 11 assists.

The Rampage open up the 2017-18 regular season on Saturday night when they welcome the Ontario Reign to the AT&T Center with the puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.
